Reviewed by - Grade: The first half of this soundtrack provides us with music from the era of
the Vietnam war. This mix of songs is probably one of my
favorites of films in this genre as they truly capture the
different moods of the film. Williams' orchestrated score for
this film is also one of power and movement as we feel the
heartwrenching themes play throughout the film. The music truly
takes us on the journey of Kovic's life growing up in Massapequa,
the war, and realizing the humanity of life as it surrounds us.
Truly one of my favorites composed by Williams, he produces a
nice blend of passion, triumph, and pain.
