Reviewed by Scott - Grade: B Goldsmith creates a passionate play against the bed sheets with this one.
This score is extremely rhythmic and moves in pace with the film.
Even the action sequences become lulled into a soft mood of
questioning plot twists and turns. Look out for similar themes
used in Malice also composed by Goldsmith. Also, note the insert. I really
love the artwork used on the CD insert for this soundtrack. The
one-sheet for the film is the main cover, however, inside is a
photo of Douglas and Stone sitting on a deck, a scene taken from
the film. The title Basic Instinct appears just over this shot,
and can be used as an alternative cover for the CD.
