More Soundtracks by Joe LoDuca Reviewed by - Grade: LoDuca's work on Army of Darkness has drastically improved over his
earlier efforts in the Evil Dead series. No longer is it a really
scary ride of a film, but a mere campy play on themes presented
in the other films. LoDuca provides some really light and
entertaining music which really fits well with the film. Some of
the themes are reminescent of a saturday morning cartoon, but fit
quite well in the overall mood. His strong orchestral pieces
allow some great drama between the action sequences, and Elfman's
March of the Dead fits well
with the themes LoDuca presents. If your a fan of the series, be
sure to check this one out.
