is a change of pace for the typical Jerry Bruckheimer film.
Usually Hans Zimmer is caught as orchestrator. This time around
though, Trevor Rabin takes stab at scoring this action
blockbuster. Though there are at times themes that do not fit too
well with the film itself, there are some nice melodies created
that seem to stick in your head for a while. However, there is
nothing too memorable about this score, and it quickly becomes a
monotonous crash course in action film scoring. Who knows, maybe
Zimmer could have done a little better? And no, the Aerosmith
song is not on the score. I'll try and check out the popular song
soundtrack because many people are raving about it.
